Projektstruktúra, or project structure, refers to the arrangement of tasks, roles, responsibilities, authority, and communication pathways that organize a project's work from start to finish. It defines how work is decomposed, who makes decisions, and how information flows among participants. The structure evolves as the project progresses and is shaped by the organization’s governance model, contract terms, and the nature of the deliverables.

Core elements include the project's organizational structure (functional, matrix, or projectized); the governance framework with decision rights and escalation paths; a work breakdown structure (WBS) decomposing the scope into components; defined roles and accountability; a schedule with milestones and reporting lines; and plans for risk, quality, communication, and change management. Interfaces and dependencies between teams and suppliers are also part of the project structure.

The projektstruktúra guides planning, resource allocation, and performance measurement. It influences decision speed, resource assignment, and change approvals. A well-defined structure promotes clarity and coordination, but excessive rigidity can hinder responsiveness and create bottlenecks.

Practically, projektstruktúra varies by domain. Software projects often use cross-functional teams and product-centric structures; construction projects frequently adopt a more hierarchical, stage-gate or design-bid-build approach; research projects may favor matrix or decentralized authority. The chosen structure should align with objectives, risk tolerance, and organizational culture, and it should be revisited as the project context changes.
