prognosztika
Prognosztika is the practice or science of predicting the likely course and outcome of a disease or other condition. The term, derived from prognosis meaning knowledge beforehand, is used in medical contexts to estimate how a disease will progress, how long it may last, and what the chances are for recovery, stabilization, or deterioration. Prognostyczne assessments combine patient-specific data such as age, disease stage, symptoms, functional status, and comorbidities with laboratory tests, imaging findings, and, increasingly, molecular or genetic biomarkers. The results are often expressed as probabilities or timeframes for outcomes, rather than certainties.
In clinical practice, prognostyczka informs treatment decisions, follow-up planning, and conversations with patients and families about
Beyond medicine, prognostika can refer more generally to forecasting the future course of a condition or process
