Pistokkaisiin is a Finnish horticultural term referring to plant cuttings used for vegetative propagation. A cutting is a portion of a plant, typically a stem, leaf, or root, that is used to produce a new independent plant. Pistokkaisiin are usually taken from healthy, actively growing mother plants and placed in a rooting medium to develop roots.

There are several types of cuttings used in pistokkaisiin. Hardwood cuttings come from mature wood and are often taken in winter for woody plants. Semi-hardwood cuttings are from partially mature growth taken later in the growing season.
