Peruutusehto, literally “cancellation term” in Finnish, refers to the terms and conditions that govern how and when a customer can cancel a purchase, booking or service, and what the consequences are. In Finland, consumers generally have a 14-day cooling-off period for distance and off-premises contracts, but there are exceptions where the right to withdraw can be restricted, such as for services started with the consumer’s consent or for customized goods.
