Personaszkriptet is a methodological device used in user-centered design and storytelling to present a persona as a scripted scene. The term combines persona, a fictional user archetype, with skriptet, the script, to convey how that user might think, act, and interact with a product or service in a concrete moment. The approach is used to translate abstract user needs into narrative cues that guide design decisions and communication among team members and stakeholders.

A typical personaszkriptet includes several elements: a brief profile of the persona (name, demographics, goals, and context); a short scenario describing a specific task or situation; a dialogue or step-by-step actions showing interactions with the product; and a short outcome or success criteria. The script is intended to be concise, usually a few paragraphs or a single scene, easily read aloud in workshops or reviews.

Development usually starts from qualitative research—interviews, observations, and other user data—to define a representative persona and core tasks. The script is then drafted by designers or researchers and validated with stakeholders. It is often used in design sprints, usability testing planning, and requirement prioritization, and can be revised as new insights emerge.

Critics caution that personaszkriptet can oversimplify user diversity or reinforce stereotypes if used in isolation. To mitigate this, teams typically pair scripts with quantitative data, multiple personas, and direct user feedback; they also continually update scripts to reflect changing contexts and user evolution.
