Pallomäjäytymiseen, a Finnish term, translates to "ball bursting" or "ball explosion" and generally refers to the phenomenon of a spherical object rapidly and forcefully disintegrating. This can occur due to various internal or external factors. Internally, excessive pressure build-up within a sealed spherical container is a common cause. For example, if a hollow ball is filled with a gas and then heated, the increased temperature causes the gas molecules to move faster, exerting greater pressure on the ball's walls. If this pressure exceeds the structural integrity of the material, a rupture will occur, leading to a sudden explosion.
Externally, rapid and forceful impact can also lead to pallomäjäytymiseen. When a spherical object strikes a
