ovülasyonla
Ovülasyonla is the Turkish term for ovulation, the process during which a mature ovarian follicle releases an egg (oocyte) into the fallopian tube. It occurs roughly midway through the menstrual cycle and is regulated by a complex interplay of hormones, primarily the luteinizing hormone (LH) surge, follicle‑stimulating hormone (FSH), estrogen, and progesterone. The ovarian follicle that matures during the follicular phase of the cycle grows and secretes estrogen; when estrogen reaches a critical threshold, it triggers an LH surge that causes the follicle to rupture.
The released egg is viable for about 12–24 hours, during which time fertilization can occur if sperm
Tracking ovulation is useful for family planning, whether the goal is to conceive or to avoid pregnancy.
