Alexia, the inability to read, can also be related, as it involves recognizing letters and words. Color agnosia, the difficulty in naming or identifying colors, is another manifestation.

The causes of organët are typically due to damage to specific areas of the brain's visual cortex, often resulting from stroke, traumatic brain injury, or neurodegenerative diseases. Diagnosis involves a series of neurological and neuropsychological assessments to rule out other visual or cognitive impairments. Treatment approaches focus on compensatory strategies and rehabilitation to help individuals adapt to their challenges. While there is no cure, therapy can improve functional abilities and quality of life.
