Obrotowymi refers to a type of mechanism found in medieval and early modern European fortifications, particularly in Poland and other Eastern Slavic states. Literally meaning "turntable" in Polish, the obrotowymi mechanism utilized a rotating platform to direct firepower against attackers.

These mechanisms were typically large, circular castles or wooden platforms that sat atop a tower or wall. They enabled the defenders to rotate the platform, allowing them to direct their cannons or other artillery against any part of the attacking force. The obrotowymi was a key innovation in 16th and 17th century warfare, particularly in fortified defenses.

The obrotowymi is also found in some historical records as a type of defensive tower or bastion. While details vary, the structure itself was often a rotating platform upon which one or more cannons, as well as supporting troops, could be deployed.
