Nettverkstypen refers to the classification or type of a computer network. This classification is typically based on factors such as the geographic area covered, the topology or physical arrangement of devices, the way data is transmitted, or the relationship between the connected devices. Common network types include Local Area Network (LAN), which covers a small geographic area like a home or office, and Wide Area Network (WAN), which spans a larger geographic area, often connecting multiple LANs.
