Nerfpatronen, often called Nerf darts, are soft foam projectiles designed for use with Nerf blasters, a line of toy weapons produced by Hasbro. They are intended to be safer for indoor play than hard projectiles while still providing a sense of ranged action.

Most standard Nerf darts consist of a lightweight foam body with a harder head or tip, commonly made of plastic or a denser foam. The tips are colored and shaped to optimize aerodynamics and grip inside the blaster’s barrel. Players are advised to wear eye protection, avoid aiming at faces or eyes, and follow manufacturer recommendations regarding age suitability and blaster power. After play, darts should be inspected for damage and stored to prevent damage to toys or living spaces.

Hasbro markets Nerf darts as part of a broader ecosystem of foam-based combat play. They are widely available in toy stores and online, with multiple brands and variants designed to fit different Nerf blaster lines.
