The main Finnish mobile operators are Elisa, Telia, and DNA, each operating on the 4G LTE and 5G NR standards and competing for market share, coverage quality, and pricing. Elisa, originally the Finnish branch of the Swedish company TeliaSonera, was rebranded in 2017. Telia, formed by the merger of Pure and Elisa, offers a broad range of services including fixed‑line broadband and digital TV. DNA, originally the third major operator, is now majority-owned by the Swedish telecom group Telenor.
