Megfelelség, in Hungarian usage often spelled megfelelés, refers to the state or act of meeting specified requirements, such as standards, laws, or customer specifications. The concept denotes that a product, service, process, or system conforms to defined criteria, enabling verification through measurement, testing, or assessment. While megfelelés is the common term, some texts occasionally use megfelelség as a variant form.

Conformity assessment comprises the methods and procedures used to demonstrate compliance with these requirements. This can include testing, inspection, certification, and audits. A declaration of conformity or product labeling (for example, marks used in international trade) is frequently employed to communicate conformity to external stakeholders. Conformity assessment may involve third-party bodies or internal evaluation, depending on legal requirements and the risk level associated with the item or activity.

Applications of conformity span multiple domains.
