Mõõteskaalad, often translated as measurement scales, are fundamental concepts in statistics and research methodology. They define the nature of the data collected and the types of statistical analyses that can be appropriately applied. There are four commonly recognized levels of measurement scales: nominal, ordinal, interval, and ratio.
