Luonnonnahasta, also known as wild boar or wild pig, is a large, wild mammal native to Europe, Asia, and North Africa. It is a member of the Suidae family, which also includes domestic pigs. Luonnonnahasta is known for its robust build, with a stocky body, short legs, and a long snout. It has a distinctive appearance with a bristly coat that varies in color from reddish-brown to almost black, and a white belly.

The species is omnivorous, feeding on a variety of plant materials, including roots, tubers, fruits, and nuts, as well as insects and small animals. Luonnonnahasta is solitary and territorial, with males often fighting for dominance during the mating season. Females give birth to litters of one to four piglets after a gestation period of about 114 days.

Luonnonnahasta plays a significant role in many ecosystems, serving as a prey species for larger predators and helping to disperse seeds through its foraging activities. However, due to habitat loss and hunting, the species is considered vulnerable by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Conservation efforts are underway to protect and preserve luonnonnahasta populations in their natural habitats.
