Luokkakonfliktit refers to the conflicts that arise between different social classes over resources, power, and status. The concept is rooted in the Marxist tradition, where class struggles are seen as a driving force behind social change. In Marxist theory, conflict emerges because the capitalist class (bourgeoisie) controls the means of production and exploits the working class (proletariat), leading to tension and, eventually, revolution.
