linuxptpprosjektet
linuxptpprosjektet is an open-source software project that provides an implementation of the Precision Time Protocol (PTP) for Linux systems. It is designed to enable precise time synchronization across networked devices by leveraging the IEEE 1588 standards and, where hardware support is available, Linux kernel clock hardware (PHC) timestamps.
The project supplies a set of user-space tools that form a complete PTP solution. The core daemon,
linuxptpprosjektet supports the Precision Time Protocol as defined by IEEE 1588, and it is designed to work
Historically associated with the linuxptp project, linuxptpprosjektet is developed and maintained by a community of contributors,
