Limitades is a relatively obscure term used in a variety of contexts to denote ideas related to limits. It is not a standard term in any major discipline, and its meaning differs across sources.

In mathematics and related fields, limitades are sometimes described as limit-preserving transformations or operators acting on sequences or nets. The core informal idea is that a limitede interacts with a limiting process without altering the limit value. Because there is no single accepted definition, different authors propose different axioms—for example, requiring that if a sequence x_n converges to L, then the transformed sequence y_n = F(x_n) also converges to L; some definitions additionally demand stability under composition with other limit-preserving operations.
