Properties and care: a lakkauspinta typically offers good abrasion and chemical resistance and forms a moisture barrier. However, it can be sensitive to solvent attack and may crack if the substrate moves or if there is poor preparation. Maintenance involves gentle cleaning and, if damaged, repair through sanding and re-coating.
