Klikramen is a Dutch term for snap or click frames: lightweight picture or poster frames with hinged edges that open and close by snapping into place. They are commonly made from aluminium or plastic and include a clear protective sheet, a backing board, and a front frame profile that clicks down to secure printed media without adhesive.

These frames are widely used for temporary displays such as posters, notices, menus, certificates and promotional graphics in shops, offices, schools and public spaces. Their main advantage is quick and tool-free replacement of content, which makes them practical for environments where information changes frequently. The slim profile also provides a clean, modern appearance and protects prints from dust and minor handling damage.

Variants include wall-mounted snap frames, freestanding versions with supports, and anti-glare or UV-filtering fronts for improved preservation and visibility. Sizes range from small certificates to large-format posters; custom sizes are often available.

Limitations of klikramen include a reliance on flat media of fixed thickness and generally limited archival protection compared with sealed, museum-grade framing. Care and maintenance are straightforward: clean the protective sheet with a soft cloth and mild cleaner, avoid abrasive materials, and check hinges for wear.
