Kahvinvalmistus refers to the process of brewing coffee. There are numerous methods and techniques for preparing coffee, each yielding distinct flavors and characteristics. The most common methods involve steeping ground coffee beans in hot water.

Pour-over coffee is a manual brewing method where hot water is slowly poured over coffee grounds in a filter cone, allowing for precise control over water flow and temperature, which enthusiasts believe maximizes flavor extraction. Other methods include Moka pot, Aeropress, and cold brew, each offering a unique coffee experience based on different extraction principles and brewing times. The quality of the coffee beans, grind size, water temperature, and brewing time all significantly impact the final taste of the brewed coffee.
