Jambos, also known as jambo trees or simply jambos, refer to a genus of trees and shrubs in the family Myrtaceae. This genus, Syzygium, is native to tropical regions of Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Pacific islands. The name "jambo" itself is of Swahili origin and is a common greeting in East Africa, though the trees are found much more widely.

Species within the Syzygium genus are characterized by their evergreen foliage and often attractive flowers. Many species produce edible fruits, which vary greatly in size, shape, color, and flavor. Perhaps the most well-known member of this genus is the rose apple (Syzygium jambos), which has a delicate, floral aroma and a mildly sweet taste. Other notable species include the water apple (Syzygium aqueum) and the Malay apple (Syzygium malaccense), both of which are cultivated for their fruits in tropical areas.

The wood from some jambos species is also used for various purposes, including construction and furniture making.
