Inspeksjonskanaler, literally “inspection channels,” are insulated conduits used in modern building construction to provide access for the inspection, maintenance, and servicing of mechanical and electrical systems. They are typically situated within walls, floors, or ducts and allow personnel to examine or service HVAC units, boilers, air handling units, and electrical panels without the need to dismantle fixtures or expose the public face of a wall.
