Hitsauspyssy, often translated as welding gun or welding torch, is a crucial tool in various welding processes. Its primary function is to deliver shielding gas and the welding consumable (like a welding wire or electrode) to the workpiece, while also allowing the welder to control the arc. For Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), commonly known as MIG welding, the hitsauspyssy typically houses a trigger to control the wire feed and gas flow, a nozzle to direct the shielding gas, and a contact tip that transfers electrical current to the welding wire.
