Glühmost is a warm, spiced beverage from German-speaking regions. It consists of heated apple juice or cloudy apple cider (Most) infused with aromatic spices such as cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and orange zest, and is usually sweetened with sugar or honey. The drink is typically non-alcoholic and is especially popular during the winter months and at Christmas markets, though some variants include a small amount of alcohol, such as rum or schnapps.

To prepare, the juice is combined with the spices in a pot and heated gently until steaming and just below a simmer. The mixture is left to infuse for several minutes, then strained, sweetened to taste, and served hot in mugs. Optional additions include vanilla, a squeeze of lemon, or star anise.

In Bavaria, Austria and parts of Switzerland, Glühmost refers specifically to warmed apple juice, as opposed to Glühwein, which is mulled wine. The term Most also denotes apple cider or juice in some dialects, leading to regional variations in labeling. Modern recipes may use pasteurized apple juice and omit sugar, resulting in a milder flavor.
