Frostcoated is a term used in the coatings industry to describe a class of surface finishes that imitate or incorporate frost-like crystal structures on a substrate. Most frostcoated formulations combine a resin matrix (acrylic, epoxy, or polyurethane) with inorganic or organic microcrystals and mineral fillers such as silica or mica.
