Forrasztóanyag, commonly known as solder, is a fusible metal alloy used to join two metal surfaces together. It is typically composed of tin and lead, although lead-free alternatives are increasingly common due to environmental and health concerns. Other elements like silver, copper, and antimony can be added to modify the properties of the solder, such as its melting point, strength, and conductivity.

The process of soldering involves heating the forrasztóanyag until it melts, then applying it to the joint between the two pieces of metal. The molten solder flows into the gap and, upon cooling, solidifies to create a strong electrical and mechanical bond.
