Technical background and operation: An esimi uses an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) inside a device. Remote SIM provisioning (RSP) enables profiles to be downloaded, installed, and switched over the air. Carriers or management platforms authenticate profiles, and users can select a preferred line or add multiple profiles for different operators, regions, or data plans.
