Erhvervsfaglig is a Danish adjective used to describe education, training, and competences that are oriented toward trades and industry rather than purely academic disciplines. The term covers activities, curricula, and qualifications that prepare individuals for skilled work, with emphasis on practical skills, problem solving in real-work settings, and collaboration with employers.

Within the Danish education system, the term is closely linked to erhvervsuddannelser (vocational education and training, VET). Erhvervsuddannelser are typically upper-secondary programs that combine classroom instruction with practical training in a company (an apprenticeship). After completion, students may receive a svendebrev (journeyman's certificate) or other trade-specific qualifications, enabling them to work as skilled practitioners in fields such as carpentry, plumbing, automotive, and healthcare support. The system also includes pathways such as 'eux', which blends vocational training with a general upper secondary diploma, allowing progression to higher education.

Erhvervsfaglig education is designed to meet labor market needs by providing industry-relevant skills and facilitating lifelong learning for adults through continuing vocational training (efteruddannelse).
