Emasloomade is the Estonian term for female animals, the sex that typically bears offspring and produces ova. The concept is used across a wide range of animal groups, including mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians.

In most species, emasloomade possess reproductive organs such as ovaries and oviducts. In mammals, gestation and lactation are common female traits; in birds, females lay eggs and often provide parental care after hatching.
