A diskeprógram, often referred to as a disc program, is a type of software designed to run on disc-based operating systems or to manage operations related to physical media like CDs, DVDs, or Blu-ray discs. Historically, these programs were essential for booting operating systems from discs or for interacting with the disc drive's functionalities. In modern computing, the term is less common as optical media has largely been superseded by USB drives and network installations.

Diskeprógrams encompassed a range of applications. Some were simple bootloaders that allowed a computer to start up by reading instructions from a disc. Others were more complex, providing utilities for formatting discs, copying data, or even creating bootable media. Early operating systems, such as MS-DOS, relied heavily on diskeprógrams for installation and operation. Specialized software also existed for burning data onto discs, often termed disc mastering programs, which could be considered a subset of diskeprógrams.
