Dipsadid is a common name that refers to a subfamily of colubrid snakes, Dipsadinae. This subfamily is found in the Americas, ranging from southern Mexico through Central and South America, and into the Caribbean islands. Dipsadids are a diverse group, encompassing a wide variety of species with differing appearances and lifestyles.

Many dipsadids are relatively small to medium-sized snakes. Their coloration can vary greatly, with some species exhibiting drab, camouflaged patterns and others displaying bright, aposematic colors.
