Diffoitua is a term used in speculative physics and materials science to denote a hypothetical phase or material characterized by unusual diffusion dynamics. It is not an established substance and has no confirmed experimental realization; the concept is primarily used in thought experiments and fictional contexts to explore how diffusion might interact with external fields and constrained geometries.

In proposed models, diffoitua features highly anisotropic diffusion, where transport is markedly faster along certain channels than in the bulk. Some formulations describe a diffusion memory, in which the current flux depends on previous concentration distributions, and a nonlinear dependence of mobility on local concentration. The microstructure is imagined as a porous solid or lattice with interconnected nanochannels that form directional networks, enabling selective transport.

Theoretical frameworks for diffoitua often couple conventional Fickian diffusion with additional terms representing field coupling, mechanical stress, or cooperative particle interactions. Mathematically, models may involve nonlinear diffusion equations, fractional diffusion operators, or coupled transport and reaction terms.
