Boluszt is a neologism used in some theoretical discussions to denote a rapid, self-contained release of material or information into a system. The term borrows from bolus, a lump or mass, to emphasize the abrupt, concentrated nature of the event. In this sense, a boluszt contrasts with gradual, sustained delivery.
