Bijoy is a Bengali name and a brand associated with Bengali language computing. In South Asia, Bijoy is a masculine given name meaning victory, derived from the Sanskrit vijaya, commonly used in Bangladesh and the Indian state of West Bengal.

Bijoy also refers to a Bengali typing system and font family introduced in the late 20th century. It provided a way to type Bengali text on computers using a proprietary script encoding that mapped Bengali characters to a Latin-based input. Early Bijoy software produced text in a font-based encoding, which allowed display on screen but created compatibility issues with Unicode. Later versions, often marketed as Bijoy Bayanno, added Unicode support, enabling standard Unicode Bengali text while preserving the original typing logic.
