Aseksuaal (also known as asexual or ace) refers to a person who experiences little or no sexual attraction to anyone. Aseksuaal individuals may still experience romantic or emotional attraction to others, but may not experience sexual attraction.

Aseksuaal attraction is not the same as celibacy or abstinence, which are choices made by individuals to refrain from sexual activity. Aseksuaal individuals are not actively choosing not to engage in sex, but rather they do not experience sexual attraction in the first place.

Aseksuaal identities are recognized as part of the LGBTQ+ community, although they do not necessarily identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or any other sexual orientation. Aseksuaal individuals may identify as asexual, aromantic, or demisexual, among other identities.

Aseksuaal people may face stigma and marginalization due to a lack of understanding about aseksuaal identities. Some people in the LGBTQ+ community may not recognize aseksuaal identities or may view aseksuaal individuals as "broken" or "asexual by choice." Aseksuaal individuals may also face challenges in accessing appropriate healthcare and support services due to a lack of aseksuaal-friendly resources.

In recent years, there has been growing recognition and understanding of aseksuaal identities, with many organizations and support groups specifically catering to aseksuaal individuals. However, much work remains to be done to promote aseksuaal visibility and inclusion.

Aseksuaal identities are diverse and complex, and not all aseksuaal individuals experience the same levels of sexual attraction or lack thereof. Aseksuaal individuals are not inherently more or less sex-positive than other individuals, and they may have their own unique attitudes and experiences related to sex and intimacy.
