Artikuläre is the feminine or plural inflected form of the German adjective artikulär, derived from Latin articulus (a small joint) and articulare (to join). The term broadly pertains to articulation or joints and is used across fields such as medicine, phonetics and general description of joined or articulated structures.

In medicine and anatomy, artikulär commonly describes structures related to a joint (Gelenk). Examples include artikuläre Knorpel (articular cartilage), artikuläre Flächen (articular surfaces) and artikuläre Kapsel (joint capsule). The adjective appears in clinical contexts addressing articular disorders (artikuläre Erkrankungen) such as arthrosis or arthritis, where it denotes processes affecting the joint itself as opposed to periarticular tissues.

In linguistics and phonetics, artikulär relates to the physical production of speech sounds. Artikuläre Merkmale (articulatory features) refer to the position and movement of the vocal organs—tongue, lips, palate and glottis—when producing phonemes.
