actuering
Actuering is a term used to describe the process or practice of producing action, most commonly in two broad domains: engineering and the performing arts. In technical contexts it is synonymous with actuation — the mechanisms and methods by which a system converts control signals into physical motion or change. This includes the selection, design and integration of actuators (electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, piezoelectric, etc.), their interfaces with sensors and controllers, and considerations such as response time, force, precision and reliability.
In cultural or linguistic contexts, actuering is sometimes encountered as a variant or translation of "acting"
