Zopherus is a genus of beetles belonging to the family Tenebrionidae. These beetles are commonly known as iron beetles due to their extremely hard exoskeletons. The genus is primarily found in the Americas, with most species inhabiting arid and semi-arid regions of Mexico and the southwestern United States.
