Witis is a constructed language family used in speculative fiction and collaborative worldbuilding. It consists of several related languages and dialects developed by the Witis Collective, a community of linguists and writers formed in the 2010s. In the fictional universe, Witis functions as a regional lingua franca and as a vehicle for cultural identity across multiple regions and communities.

Linguistic features in Witis varieties are generally analytic but with productive affixation in some dialects. The languages typically employ subject–verb–object word order, with evidential mood marking that signals source of information. Noun morphology often includes plural markers and case particles for function and relation. Pronoun systems commonly distinguish inclusive and exclusive forms in plural and non-singular references, reinforcing social and diplomatic nuances in communication.

The writing and phonology of Witis are diverse across dialects. A central writing system, a syllabary called Wirta, is used in combination with diacritics to indicate tonal or breathy voice distinctions. Phonologically, Witis dialects encompass roughly 25 to 30 phonemes, including a modest set of consonant clusters and a five-vowel system with occasional vowel length contrasts.
