Vértes
Vértes is a low mountain range in northwestern Hungary, part of the Transdanubian Mountain system. It lies mainly in the counties of Komárom-Esztergom and Fejér and runs roughly in a north–south direction, north of the Velencei-tó region. The Vértes serve as a natural connection between the western Hungarian uplands and the plains to the east.
