Vremenskys is a relatively new concept in speculative fiction, first appearing in the short story "The Chronometer's Echo" by Anya Sharma in 2023. The term "Vremenskys" refers to individuals or entities who possess an innate, albeit limited, ability to perceive and interact with temporal echoes. These echoes are not full-fledged time travel but rather faint impressions or resonances of past events that linger in specific locations or around certain objects.

The nature of these temporal echoes is not fully understood. Some theories suggest they are residual energy imprints, while others posit they are a form of low-level quantum entanglement with past states. Vremenskys can often sense these echoes as fleeting images, sounds, or even emotions tied to significant moments. This perception is typically involuntary and can be overwhelming, leading to disorientation or sensory overload for the Vremensky.
