Vogtlesca is a fictional creature that appears in the role-playing game Pathfinder. It is described as a solitary, predatory beast that inhabits the arid deserts and rocky badlands of the Inner Sea region. These creatures are known for their distinctive appearance, possessing a chitinous exoskeleton, multiple limbs, and a proboscis-like mouth used for feeding. Vogtlescas are typically encountered alone, preferring to ambush their prey rather than engaging in prolonged hunts. Their diet consists mainly of smaller desert animals and carrion, though they are opportunistic and will attack larger creatures if the opportunity arises.

Physically, a Vogtlesca is roughly the size of a large dog, with a segmented body covered in tough, segmented plates that offer significant protection. They possess several pairs of spindly legs that allow them to scuttle quickly across rocky terrain and burrow into sand or loose soil.
