Virtsarakon

Virtsarakon is a fictional municipality in the Nordic-inspired nation of Lysandia. It lies in the Lysan lowlands along the southern shore of Lake Sira, covering about 120 square kilometers. The estimated population is 4,600 residents as of 2023, with a dispersed settlement pattern centered on the town and several small villages.

Historical records describe its origins as a fishing and trading post established in the 16th century. The community expanded through forestry and agriculture in the 19th century and attained formal municipal status in 1862.

Geography and climate: The terrain combines low hills, boreal forests, and a network of small lakes. The climate is temperate maritime, with cold winters, mild summers, and about 600 millimeters of precipitation annually.
