Vineerilised is an adjective used to describe surfaces that have been veneered, meaning covered with a thin sheet of wood or other decorative material glued to a less expensive core. Veneering is a long-standing technique in furniture, cabinetry, and interior architecture, valued for the appearance of high-quality wood without the expense of solid timbers. The term is commonly used in manufacturing to denote a finished product rather than a solid wood object, and it can also carry a metaphorical sense of making something look more valuable than its underlying structure.

Veneering typically uses wood veneers produced by slicing, peeling, or rotary-cutting a log; common core materials include plywood, medium-density fibreboard, or particleboard. The veneer sheet is adhered with resins such as PVA, urea-formaldehyde, or animal glue, and is held under pressure during curing, often by hot-pressing or vacuum-bagging.

Vineerilised surfaces are valued for their aesthetic variety, availability of exotic appearances, and surface smoothness. They enable precise matching of grain patterns and can be finished with stains, varnishes, or lacquers. Potential drawbacks include edge lifting, veneer cracks, or delamination if moisture control and substrate preparation are inadequate. Care must be taken to avoid excessive humidity, direct sunlight, or mechanical damage.

In practice, the term coexists with 'veneered' as a descriptor of the finished state; the deeper material remains unchanged beneath the veneer, and the choice between veneered and solid-core constructions depends on cost, weight, and use case.
