Vestlusia is a fictional sovereign state used in worldbuilding, described as a parliamentary republic located as an archipelagic nation in the northern maritime region. It features a largely democratic political system and a mixed economy.

The realm comprises several major islands and numerous islets along a rugged coastline. The terrain includes lowland valleys, peat bogs, and forested highlands. The climate is temperate maritime with cool summers.

Vestlusia developed from coastal municipalities into a federal-like union during the 19th and 20th centuries, achieving full sovereignty after a peaceful referendum in 1980. Since then, it has maintained a policy of regional autonomy and international cooperation.

The government is a parliamentary republic. The unicameral National Assembly appoints a prime minister who leads the cabinet, while a ceremonious president serves as head of state. The judiciary is independent, and fundamental rights are protected.

Key sectors include fishing, maritime services, and renewable energy, especially offshore wind and tidal power. Tourism centers on coastal landscapes and cultural heritage. The currency is the Vestlian krona, and the economy emphasizes sustainable, export-oriented growth.

The population is about 2 million, predominantly Vestlian-speaking. Other languages appear among coastal communities, with Danish and Norwegian recognized as minority languages in border regions.

Cultural life emphasises seafaring traditions, music, and literature, with annual maritime festivals. Education is publicly funded, healthcare is universal, and environmental protection is a national priority.
