Vesaavia
Vesaavia is a genus of fungi belonging to the family Entolomataceae. This genus was first described in 2010 by mycologists Else Vellinga and Paul M. Kirk. The type species for the genus is Vesaavia microspora. Vesaavia mushrooms are typically characterized by their small to medium size, with caps that can be convex to broadly convex and often hygrophanous. Their gills are adnexed or sinuate and start out pale before becoming pinkish to reddish-brown as the spores mature. The stipe is usually slender and often has a fibrillose surface.
The species within Vesaavia are found in various habitats, often associated with grasses or mosses in meadows,
