Ventoux
Mont Ventoux, commonly referred to simply as Ventoux, is a mountain in the Provence region of southern France. It rises to 1,909 metres above sea level, making it the highest peak in the area and a prominent landmark overlooking the surrounding plains near Carpentras and Vaison-la-Romaine.
