Vastineaika

Vastineaika is a term originating from Finnish folklore and mythology, often translated as "the time of the giants" or "the giant's era." It refers to a primordial period in Finnish creation myths and legends when colossal beings, known as jättiläiset or kiviset (stone giants), roamed the earth. These giants were typically depicted as immensely powerful, often associated with mountains, rocks, and the very landscape itself.
