Vajake
Vajake is a term that appears to be a misspelling or a less common variation of "vajrasana." Vajrasana, also known as Thunderbolt Pose or Diamond Pose, is a kneeling yoga posture. In this pose, the practitioner kneels on the floor with their shins and the tops of their feet flat against the mat. The thighs are typically upright, and the buttocks rest on the heels. The spine is kept erect, and the gaze is forward. Vajrasana is often used as a resting pose between more active asanas in yoga sequences. It is also practiced independently for meditation or pranayama (breathing exercises). The pose is believed to strengthen the thighs and ankles, improve digestion, and promote relaxation. Variations of Vajrasana exist, such as Supta Vajrasana (Reclining Thunderbolt Pose) where the practitioner leans back onto their forearms or shoulders. In some traditions, Vajrasana is considered a meditative seat that helps to ground the practitioner and foster a sense of stability. It is important to practice Vajrasana with proper alignment to avoid discomfort in the knees and ankles. Modifications can be made to accommodate individual flexibility and physical limitations.
